5 seasonal staples for fall from Dani of LYNN
Ready to sustainably update your wardrobe for the season? The key: Adding core pieces. We chatted with Dani Lynn, fashion stylist and founder of LYNN.
“LYNN's goal is to help support your vision by providing clothing or wardrobe that aligns with your overall concept and help curate your ideas by creating a creative plan to align with your brand or project,” says Dani.
She offers styling services like personal styling, wardrobe styling, and creative direction. You can find her on Instagram (@nnyl.llc), through her website, or in your inbox via her newsletter.
“We all have a sense of specific style, so the idea of a fall staple may vary from person to person.”
Here are a Dani’s recommended seasonal staple items to transition into the cooler months:
Invest in a good pair of denim: Whether dark wash, black, wide leg, or high-waisted, you want to invest in a good pair of denim.
Invest in a lightweight jacket or coat: Something you can easily throw over your look once the temperature drops.
Invest in a nice closed-toe shoe: I am keeping this broad; someone can prefer a loafer over a boot or a sneaker over a Mary Jane. Find a closed-toe shoe that works for you and your style.
Invest in a reliable piece of knitwear: A comfy sweater that you can throw on or over your shoulders when needed.
Invest in celebratory pieces: The season of holiday parties, Friendsgiving, and family get-togethers will be here before we know it. Invest in a few essential pieces you can dress up and rely upon just in case you receive an invite to a last-minute get-together. Celebratory pieces could include a nice top, a pair of trousers, a dress or a skirt.
