The benefits of facial fitness with Brandon Harris, CEO and founder of Jawzrsize

The human face has 42 individual muscles, with many of them actively working to form expressions. Like the other muscles in your body, your facial muscles can use some exercise.

In this Q+A, we're chatting with Brandon Harris, the CEO and founder of Jawzrsize, a brand dedicated to teaching and facilitating the benefits of facial fitness. Keep reading to learn how it helps and how you can start.

Q. What led to the founding of Jawzrsize?

A. I was motivated and re-motivated by suffering a couple traumatic injuries. A horrific motorcycle accident left me in a coma for 13 days and completely destroyed my face and sinus cavities. At the same time, I was still recovering from a broken jaw from a previous injury.

This had me searching for a way to realign/strengthen my jaw, bring symmetry back to my face, and clear up my speech. All while getting my primal bite back.

I say re-motivated because I had the vision for Jawzrsize in high school. The injuries were a blessing in disguise for me to go “all in” on creating Jawzrsize.

Q. Why is jaw exercise important?

A. Facial fitness units provide an innovative and targeted way to exercise the muscles in your face, neck, and jawline. These devices offer resistance that these muscles must work against, much like lifting weights at the gym. Through consistent use, you can tone and strengthen these muscles, leading to a more defined and youthful appearance.

While facial fitness is a promising field, it's essential to remember that it's just one part of a broader health and fitness regimen. Regular whole-body exercise, a balanced diet, sufficient sleep, and good hydration are all crucial for overall well-being and maintaining a youthful appearance.

In conclusion, don't let your face miss out on the benefits of exercise. With a facial fitness unit, you can give your face, neck, and jawline the workout they deserve.

Q. What are some of the benefits?

A. Benefits include:

  • Improved appearance: Regular jaw exercise can tone the masseter and other jaw-related muscles, leading to a more defined jawline.

  • Better oral health: Strong jaw muscles also mean more effective chewing, promoting better digestion and overall oral health.

  • Potential sleep benefits: By strengthening jaw muscles, there might be a reduction in conditions such as snoring and sleep apnea, as a stronger jaw can help keep the airway clear during sleep.

Q. How often should someone exercise their jaw?

A. To use Jawzrsize, we suggest doing 15 to 30 reps for three to four sets every other day or daily, starting with 20 pounds of resistance and working your way up to 50 pounds.
